IT'S ALL ME

I Just spent the last two hours trying to do what every other kid my age claims to do effortlessly, study with my ears plugged, music blaring. Newsflash! It isn’t working, NF’s lines kept me thinking, and daydreaming, while staring at my notes lest I realize that I actually spent the past couple minutes doing everything but what I planned to do. Now I’m scribbling because it’s no longer working, and I refuse to deceive myself any longer, anyone who says they can actually do this should please come and show me how it’s actually done, because I don’t know about you all but I only have one brain and when it’s listening to music no way it’s gonna be assimilating the Taylor series as well…  Now I have to pause the music which I really don’t wanna do, because I really wanna play, I do but I don’t have that liberty for the time being…  study Thecapstone, study. 

Tomorrow I have this stressful practical class and an exam which I am under-prepared for, not because I didn’t read or try to but because while I tried reading, Will smith from Bel-Air kept smiling at me in my head and it’s really hard to focus under such circumstances. But I pray my brain will remember the details I tried cramming into it while those thoughts ran around my head.

On a serious note, anyone who can actually study with music, I dare you to show me the way. I will be the most attentive, and cooperative student you could hope for. This is coming late in the day because I had classes all day long and I only just had time to breathe, but I hope you like it.
