THIS TOO SHALL PASS.

There’s no language I understand better than resting, but today is all about stress. As far as entrepreneurship programmes go, this school certainly hopes to have my head over this one. We’ve been out since 6 am, we got to the facility late, but have been here ever since working and learning. I will be honest, it’s been quite fun but as we all know, fun can only last for so long. And mine has worn out prior to this moment, coupled with the fact that my stomach’s a bit upset, and fetching basins of water usually puts me off, everything sums up to be pretty stressful. But I mean it’s all part of the growth and learning process.

I’m learning how to make Shea butter, and believe me when I say that that shiny butter you buy sitting pretty in a cup, requires more effort to create than you can possibly imagine. I just learned the hard way that I won’t be negotiating the prices in the future. But I will buy it humbly and probably pray for strength for the seller afterwards, because my shoulders and back are aching from just a day of kneading, washing, milling, and fetching water.

We are done now and it’s time to take the exams. I have studied just like I promised to, so I expect not to be confronted by Greek-looking questions, because I’m very willing to cry.

Exam done and dusted, and while it was not Greek, it was certainly something close to Latin, but I will be fine because this too shall pass. Çiao, sweethearts. See you tomorrow. I hope you like this little summary of my day, if you did remember to leave a like, and drop your thoughts in the comment.
