IT'S ALL ME

I just learned something today. I have been a writer for many years and I never fully understood it although I tried learning numerous times. I came across a job application and in the process of applying I saw a sample of what the employers expected that extensively explained it to me in a way I understood. Now the mystery “thing” I learned is SEO content writing. For some reason I’ve never been able to wrap my mind around it and none of my previous employers had ever explained it to me clearly, also I had tried studying and I simply couldn’t stumble on any block of information that turned out remotely useful, so I gave up. I stopped applying for jobs that included SEO requirements but that also meant that I couldn’t apply SEO tools to my blog contents, I felt left behind.

Not that I am now an SEO tool expert but the fact that I now have a tiny understanding has served as a crack in the wall of my limitations as regards writing and light has come spilling through. So for those employers who put out such a comprehensive job description I truly appreciate you, and I hope that whoever eventually gets the position does an excellent job for the clarity you gave me today (PS: I didn’t apply anymore).
